Dhaka: The government accepted the resignation of four technocrat ministers yesterday. Cabinet Division issued a gazette notification releasing the four ministers in line with the directive of President Abdul Hamid.
The four ministers are: Post and Telecommunications and ICT Minister Mostafa Jabbar, Science and Technology Minister Architect Yeafesh Osman, Religious Affairs Minister Principal Motiur Rahman and Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Nurul Islam BSc.
The four ministers submitted their resignation letters on 6 November hours after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina asked them to step down, according to BSS report.
