Sports Desk: The son -in -law’s shoes won’t be stolen in the wedding hall, how is that? The brothers -in -law stole the new son -in -law’s shoe and hid it, then they had to recover the shoe with the money. Such happy rituals have been happening in subcontinental marriages for thousands of years.
But Glenn Maxwell, the all-rounder in Marquette, Australia, didn’t understand the training and filed a case at the police station! News that came to the Australian media.
Maxwell has been in love with Benny Raman, a doctor of Indian descent, since 2016. They will finally get married this month. At first the wedding was made solemn according to Australian custom. Later the wedding ceremony was held in Tamil style.
Someone hid Maxwell’s new son -in -law’s shoes at the Indian wedding. Poor Maxwell thought his shoe had been stolen. So he went straight to the police station.
Later, however, the matter became clear to Maxwell. The Australian all-rounder withdrew the allegation after learning that there was such a ridiculous norm in subcontinental marriages.
