Dhaka: Bangladesh reported zero death from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours till 8:00 am on Friday for the second successive day, said a press release from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The death toll from the pandemic remains unchanged at 29,118.
The overall caseload stood at 1,951,174 as 102 fresh cases were reported in the same period, the release added on Friday afternoon.
The current positivity rate recorded at 1.03 percent after testing 9,932 samples across the country.
The recovery count rose to 18,76,148 after another 1,268 patients were discharged from the dedicated hospitals during the past one day.
On Thursday, 92 Covid-19 cases and zero death were reported in the previous day.
