News Desk: Russia has claimed that an attack by Ukrainian forces hit a residential neighborhood in Donetsk with a Tochka-U tactical missile that killed 21 and seriously wounded 37 people, including children, women and seniors.

Strongly condemning the attack by the Kiev regime, Russia said it demonstrates once again that the nationalist government of Ukraine intends to continue waging war against the civilians of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and the Lugansk People's Republic (LPR), as it has already been doing with its punitive operation in Donbas for the last eight years.

Kiev has apparently decided to launch missiles at purely innocent people as a revenge for its defeats during Russia’s special military operation to defend the DPR and the LPR. “Obviously, we are witnessing the death throes of the Ukrainian authorities,” reads the press release.

According to a press release of the Russian Embassy in Dhaka, at 11:30am on March 14, Ukrainian forces hit the residential neighborhood in Donetsk with Tochka-U tactical missile with a cluster munition prohibited under international law. Although intercepted by air defence, thus preventing large-scale and catastrophic losses.

The DPR leadership has called it an act of terror.

Press secretary for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov claimed that the Ukrainian missile strike, that killed and injured civilians, was an attack against the population.

He added that Moscow was disappointed by the absence of any reaction of Western states and politicians to the deaths of civilians in Donetsk during the shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on March 14.

Ukrainian troops fire from the Tochka-U complex towards Makiivka (Donetsk region) on March 15, also remains unnoticed. According to preliminary information, about ten people were injured including two children. The dead have not yet been found.
