Dhaka: The daily Covid-19 deaths dropped to nine and some 1,951 new cases reported in the country in the last 24 hours till 8:00 am Monday.
The infection rate has also been decreased to 6.94% during the same period after testing 28,097 samples across the country.
With the latest addition, the country's death toll reached to 28,974 and the case tally to 19,35,242.
Besides, some 8,674 Covid patients have been cured during the same period with the recovery rate of 91.11%.
On Sunday, Bangladesh reported 21 deaths and 1,987 fresh cases with 7.82% positivity rate.
