Dhaka: Bangladesh registered 20 more deaths from coronavirus or Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
Besides, the country logged 3,539 new infections during the period.
With new deaths, the total number of fatalities stands at 28,907.
On the other hand, Bangladesh witnessed some19 lakh 26 thousand 570 infections as of now.
The health bulletin of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the information on Thursday (Feb 17).
According to DGHS, some 34,547 samples were tested in the laboratories in the last 24 hours to detect Covid-19. The current positivity rate is 10.24 percent.
Till date, the total number of recoveries is 17 lakh 27 thousand 866.
