Dhaka: The deadly Coronavirus left 28 more people dead and 4,838 infected in the last 24 hours till 8:00 am on Sunday in the country.
The positivity rate in the past 24 hours dropped to 14.85%, a DGHS release confirmed this afternoon.
With the new additions, the death toll reached to 28,819 while the caseload hit 1,909,646 since its outbreak in Bangladesh.
On Saturday, Bangladesh logged 20 deaths and 5,023 fresh cases with 16.5% positivity rate.
The mortality rate has remained static at 1.51 per cent in the country.
However, the recovery rate slightly rose to 87.90 per cent with the recovery of 13,853 more patients during the 24-hour period.
