Veteran actor and freedom fighter Sohel Rana, who got admitted to a hospital on Saturday with coronavirus infection, has been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as his physical condition had deteriorated.
“Our beloved actor, producer and director Masud Parvez Sohel Rana is at ICU. His physical condition is not well. You all will pray for him,” Bangladesh Film Directors Association President Sohanur Rahman told.
Sohail Rana acted in different films with the superstar image from the mid-seventies to the eighties. He won National Film Award three times. He won the National Film Award in 2019 in the Lifetime Achievement category.
