Dhaka: Bangladesh on Thursday (September 2) saw 88 more deaths and 3,436 new cases from coronavirus or Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) made the disclosure this afternoon.
The number of total deaths now stands at 26,362 while the number of total infections is recorded at 1,507,116.
On Wednesday (September 1), 79 deaths and 3,062 new cases were registered in the country. The highest death of Bangladesh was reported at 264 in a single day on August 5.
