Dhaka: Bangladesh confirmed 77 more Covid-19 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the tally to 11,305, according to a handout released by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Wednesday afternoon.
The country has recorded 2,955 new cases of the coronavirus, raising the total to 754,614.
The daily infection rate slipped to 10:48 percent from Tuesday’s 12.52 percent while the mortality rate remained static at 1.49 percent.
The number of recoveries now stands at 672,319 including 5,392 new cases which indicates, 89.09 percent of the patients have recovered.
