Dhaka: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Friday said that the government is actively considering imposing “full lockdown” for one week from April 14.
The minister came out with the announcement during a briefing at his residence in the capital this morning.
“Government is thinking about enforcing another week of lockdown from 14 April as the Covid-19 infection has taken a terrible turn in the country,” Quader said.
Public negligence and indifference about the situation have not changed during the weeklong restrictions, he said.
