News Desk: Tonight, Dayton (Ohio) City Commissioner Matt Joseph will introduce a world’s first municipal resolution condemning genocide and other crimes against humanity. This Dayton End Genocide Resolution also affirms the City of Dayton’s duty to educate about and help end genocide and other crimes against humanity. The resolution further recognizes the role that local communities and government can take to promote ethical procurement and ethical investment in accordance with their humanitarian values.
The City of Dayton commissioners will meet to consider the Dayton End Genocide Resolution at their regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, December 30th, at 6pm US EST.
