Actress Aupee Karim and filmmaker Enamul Karim Nirjhar became the parents of a daughter on 28 December. The couple, in the meantime, named their daughter – Rashmi Ruaida Karim. After revealing the daughter’s name, Nirjhar sought blessing by publishing their daughter’s picture.
Enamul Karim Nirjhar posted a picture of his daughter on Facebook on Tuesday night, captioned: “I waited in front of the operation theater of Square Hospital on the morning of December 28. At that time, Dr. Ali said – I have become the father of a daughter! Alhamdulillah! Since then I have not been able to receive most of the phone calls due to various engagements. Very sorry for that”
Seeking blessing from all, Nirjhar also wrote, “I and Aupee are sincerely grateful to all for your wishes. By the Infinite Mercy of Allah, the daughter and mother both are healthy. In the photo – son Raudra Shakib Karim and newborn daughter Rashmi Ruaida Karim! Pray for us. Stay well, stay safe.”
Enamul Karim Nirjhar and Aupee Karim tied the knot on 7 July 2016 in the presence of family members and relatives. Both of them won the National Film Awards. Aupee won the award for her performance in ‘Bachelor’ in 2004 and Nirjhar won the award in four categories, including Best Director, for the movie ‘Aha!’.
