Dhaka: Education minister Dipu Moni yesterday said that the legal action will be taken against those who are involved in sharing or publicising rumours regarding education.
She also called upon the law enforcement agencies including RAB to take action against the rumor and false propagandists.
This information was given in a notification of the Ministry of Education on Thursday evening.
Dr. Dipu Moni said, “The educational institutions are closed till August 6 to prevent the spread of coronavirus and to ensure the safety of the students. If any decision is taken to open the educational institutions, the details will be informed officially or by notification. The legal action will be taken if anyone spreads rumors and spreads false propaganda in this regard.”
Dr Dipu Moni requested to the field level officials, teachers and parents to aware. “When the time comes, we will inform the media when the educational institution will be opened and when the examination will be taken,” he said.
