Mahfuzur Rahman: Fahim Saleh, co-founder of Bangladesh's Motorcycle Share Riding Pathao, is buried at
Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, an ancient cemetery in Orange County on the outskirts of New York City. Brother Imam Osmani of Al Noor Mosque in Wappinger Falls led the janaza prayers at 12 noon.
In fact, the janaza and burial of Fahim Saleh has been completed under tight security. A person who did not want to be named said that the police were also present at the time. He said Fahim's family is huge. And large family members and some invited neighbors attended the funeral. In all, about 80/90 people attended the event to mark Fahim's last farewell. Fahim's older sister fled the Middle East with her husband to attend her brother's funeral.
The presence of the media at the janaza was already banned. A female journalist of Bangladeshi descent from a mainstream television station was present as a family friend.
