Dhaka: The liberation war affairs ministry has cancelled the gazettes of more 35 ‘freedom fighters’.
The ministry issued a notification in this regard, said a press release.
The gazettes were cancelled as per the decision of the 66th meeting of the National Freedom Fighter Council held on 10 December 2019.

Earlier on June 7,the ministry cancelled the status of freedom fighters of 1,134 Border Guard of Bangladesh personnel and 39 members of air force and eight MODCs of the force for earning the status by placing forged documents.
