Dhaka: Urging people not to panic over coronavirus, Director of the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) Prof Meerjady Sabrina Flora said no new case of coronavirus infection was reported in the country in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning.
“We’ve tested samples collected from 42 people and none of them were found positive so the total number of infected patients remains 48,” she said.
However, four more patients have recovered from the disease. With these, a total of 15 people have fully recovered from the virus, Flora said at an online press briefing on Saturday.
No patient died from the virus in the last 24 hours, she said.
