Dhaka: Imprisoned Khaleda Zia will spend her first Eid at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
Earlier, Khaleda Zia spent her Eid at for the fourth time.
Dhaka Central Jail authorities have arranged special food for Khaleda Zia, who is now undergoing treatment at BSMMU.
Jailer Mahbub Alam of Dhaka Central jail said, Khaleda Zia will get her food as per jail code like a prisoner. Her family members can meet her on the Eid day after taking permission.
But her food will be severed as per the advice of doctors and diet chart.
According to BNP sources, senior leaders of the party will offer Ziarat at the grave of the party founder former President Shaheed Ziaur Rahman. Later, they will go to BSMMU to meet party chairperson Khaleda Zia.
Later, the BNP leaders will go to offer Ziarat at the grave of Arafat Rahman Koko at Banani in the capital.
