Dhaka: President of Turkey Tayyip Erdogan has sent a message to President Abdul Hamid and condoled the loss of lives during the fire which broke out on February 20 at Chawkbazar area in the capital.
Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a separate message said they are saddened to hear that many lost their livses and were injured when a fire broke out in Chawkbazar.
“We wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives in the fire, convey our condolences to the families of the victims and to the friendly and brotherly people and Government of Bangladesh, and wish speedy recovery to the wounded,” reads the message shared by the Turkish Embassy in Dhaka.
