Dhaka: Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda has asked the officials concerned to remain cautious while releasing the results of the upcoming national polls.
Addressing the election officials, the CEC said: “Be careful while performing your duties. No mistake should occur in counting the votes and announcing the results as one mistake can create a big disorder.”
Nurul Huda said this while speaking at a training session on Election Management System (EMS), Candidate Information Management System (CIMS) and Result Management System (RMS) at Nirbachan Bhaban this morning.
He said: “The officials concerned should get proper training so that they can perform their duties skillfully.”
“Especially, the technical persons concerned have to apply their full capacity and knowledge in order to make the vote counting process easier and credible,” he added.
He called upon the officials to remain alert so that the interest and confidence of people are not affected.
