Dhaka: Shahriar Shahid, Managing Editor of the official news agency Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), passed away at a city hospital on Saturday.
Shahriar, who had been undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital, breathed his last there around 1:45pm, family sources said.
The BSS senior journalist had long been suffering from kidney complications.
