Dhaka: The 22nd session of the 10th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) is scheduled to begin at 5pm today after a 58-day recess.
President Abdul Hamid has summoned the session exercising the power bestowed upon him according to clause (1) of the article 72 of the Constitution.
The 21st session (budget session) of incumbent parliament was prorogued on July 12 last.
That was the last budget session of the incumbent Awami League government.
