Dhaka: Election Commission Secretary Helal Uddin Ahmed today confirmed that the 11th parliamentary election in the country would be held in the last week of December this year.
“The authorities concerned are making preparations to introduce Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) in 100 electoral constituencies in the upcoming national polls,” he added.
The EC secretary came up with the comments while addressing at a press conference held at the EC secretariat in the capital on Tuesday.
