Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday inaugurated the annual conference of deputy commissioners at the Shapla Hall of her office in the capital.
The three-day long conference has been kicked-off around 10am which will be continued until July 26 (Thursday).
Prime minister, cabinet members, prime minister’s advisors and secretaries of ministries will review 347 proposals, which was drafted by of deputy commissioners, in a total of 22 sessions of the conference.
In the biggest conference of field-level administrators, the deputy commissioners will get the opportunity to discuss different issues of their respective district with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, according to Cabinet Division sources.
DC of the all 64 districts and Commissioners of eight divisions have taken part in the conference.
