Dhaka: A Dhaka court has fixed July 31 for hearing the bail petition filed by BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in two cases filed for “patronizing” the war criminals and celebrating “fake” birthday on August 15.
Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge's court passed the order on Wednesday after Khaleda's lawyer filed the petitions.
Earlier on July 5, two Dhaka courts denied the bails of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in connection with the cases.
The BNP chairperson filed the petitions with the HC on May 22 seeking bail in the two cases lodged in Dhaka in 2016.
