Dhaka: The High Court on Sunday fixed tomorrow (Monday) for delivering order on three petitions filed by BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia seeking bail in three separate cases.
The HC bench of Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice JBM Hassan fixed the date after concluding hearing on the petitions.
Of the three cases, two were filed in Comilla on charge of vandalising vehicles on January 25, 2015; and killing seven persons and injuring 25-26 others by setting fire on a passenger bus in Chauddagram on February 2, 2015.
Khaleda Zia, however, could not get released from the jail following the SC judgment as she is shown arrested in seven other cases in including the three.
