Dhaka: Senior officials of the government and cabinet members will get ceiling-free use of mobile connections and Tk75,000 each to purchase a mobile phone set, according to the Telephone Cellular Set and Internet Policy-2018.
The draft of the policy has been approved in the regular meeting of the cabinet in Prime Minister’s office in the capital on Monday.
Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam confirmed the information to the journalists.
The official said: “According to the draft, all cabinet members and secretaries of the government will enjoy ceiling-free mobile connection. They are also entitled to purchase a mobile set worth Tk75,000.”
