Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to visit two more divisional and three district cities in March and April as per her party's electoral campaign.
During the visit she will inaugurate different development projects of the government in the cities and address public meetings to be organized by local Awami League, Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) sources have confirmed this to Bangla daily Kalerkantho.
According to the schedule, she is set to visit Chittagong on March 21, Mymensingh on April 5, Chandpur on April 1 and Thakurgaon on April 29 while her Gazipur visit date has not been fixed till now, Awami League Office Secretary Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap has confirmed.
Prime minister Sheikh Hasina went to Khulna on a daylong visit to join the 58th Convention of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh on March 3.
She addressed a public meeting organised by Khulna Awami League at the Circuit House playground and opened 47development projects and laid the foundation stones of 52 other projects during her visit there.
