After about one year, popular TV stars Ziaul Faruk Apurba and Sumaiya Shimu have paired up again for a Eid-special tele-drama titled ‘Sandhi Bicched’ The drama was directed by Shilpi and Ifti and the shooting took place at a shooting house in the capital’s Uttara on April 12 and 13. The duo has played the roles of husband-wife in the tele-drama. When asked about the story of the drama, Apurba said, “The story of the drama revolves around various aspects, ups and downs in a conjugal life.”
About his co-actor Sumaiya Shimu, he said, “Shimu is a good and polite person. She is a good actress too. I like to work with her. In a word, I enjoy a lot while working with her.”
Sumaiya Shimu shared her feelings and said, “Apurba is one of my favourite co-actors. I always like to work with him because Apurba is serious during the time of the shooting. That is the reason our acting looks so vivid on screen. In the drama we worked sincerely and that’s why I am hopeful that it will be an enjoyable tele-drama for the viewers.”
One year back, the duo last paired up for a tele-drama titled ‘Ek Pa Du’pa’ directed by Ferdous Hasan. The two first came together in Ashraful Alam Ripon’s tele-drama ‘Sonar Phul’.
The drama will be aired on a satellite television channel during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
