News desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that Bangladesh will trust the judgment of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the Teesta issue, even if the West Bengal chief minister is not on board.
The Bangladeshi premier made the comment at a programme organised by the India Foundation in Delhi this morning. She added that Bangladesh is in favour of diplomatic solutions.
heikh Hasina believes that ties between Bangladesh and India will enter a new chapter, after the signing of the Teesta water sharing deal. The agreement has been pending for the last 6 years. She later addressed another programme organised by the Bangladesh-India Business Forum.
