‘Meyeti Ekhon Kothay Jabe’—a full-length feature film, which is the second directorial project of popular actor-turned-director Nader Chowdhury, will hit about 40 cinema halls across the country today. Produced under the banner of Jaaz Multimedia, ‘Meyeti Ekhon Kothay Jabe’ has been made based on a story of noted author Imdadul Haque Milon’s novel with the same title. Abdullah Zahir Babu has written the screenplay for the film.
Promising actress Falguni Rahman Jolly and actor Shah Riaz will be seen playing lead roles in the film. The other important casts of the film include Mamunur Rashid, Raisul Islam Asad, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Saju Khadem and Subrata Barua, among others.
Ahead of the countrywide film release today, a press conference was held on Wednesday at Zahir Raihan Colour Lab Auditorium of Bangladesh Film Development Corporation in the capital. Alongside director Nader Chowdhury and producer of the film and owner of Jaaz Multimedia Abdul Aziz, the film’s cast Jolly, Shah Riaz and Fazlur Rahman Babu, among others, were present at the press conference.
Director Nader Chowdhury said, “It is a film with a wonderful story, I hope the audience will like it. Our life is an admixture of thousands of incidents. I have tried to illustrate a few of the stories from our life in the film. If the viewers like the film now, my hard work will be successful.”
Actor Shah Riaz said about his role in the film, “My expectation about the film is very high, because I have been presented uniquely in the film. The audience had earlier seen me as an action hero. But this time around, I will be seen appearing as a common village boy, who roams around casually wearing lungi and shirt. I thank the director Nader sir for casting me in such a role.”
