New york: The New Driver Application Status Report, which lists the status of all driver license applications and missing requirements, has been updated to notify applicants if fingerprints or a copy of their DMV license is missing.
Applicants can check the status of their applications at www.nyc.gov/newdriverapplookup. To check your status, you will need your application number, which may be found in your application confirmation e-mail. It can take new information between 3 to 10 business days to appear on the report.
Missing fingerprints or DMV license copy will be shown in the “Other Requirements” column.
Applicants that need to complete the fingerprint requirement can sign up for an appointment at https://ny.ibtfingerprint.com. When asked for an ORI number, please write “TAXI.”
Applicants that have not yet submitted a copy of their DMV license should e-mail a copy of their DMV license to newdrivermr@tlc.nyc.gov.- Press release
