News desk: Imam Sheikh, the van driver who drove Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and members of her family in Gopalganj, recently getting job according to his qualification at the Bangladesh Air Force.
On Sunday, employees of the Matiur Rahman Air Force Base in Jessore met Imam and decided to give him the job.
Imam, whose father is sick, was handed 40,000 taka by the Air Force in order to help him for his father’s treatment.
Meanwhile, the van driven by Imam has been preserved in a museum as well, according to sources at the air force.
Earlier on Friday , Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina rode a Imam’s rickshaw-van to show her grand children around her home locality Goplaganj.
Radwan Mujib Siddiq Bobby, son of the Premier’s sister Sheikh Rehana, his wife and two children accompanied Sheikh Hasina on the rickshaw-van.
