cently met with congresswoman Grace Meng in her district office in Flushing. Led by Dr. Siddiqur Rahman, chief advisor of the organization, and Mohammad Ali Siddique , chairman, the group of representative included Monjur Choudhury, secretary general, Masudul Hasan MD, advisor, Abdur Rahim Badsha and Kazi Azizul Hoque Khokon, vice chairmen, and Mrs. Shahanara Rahman, director.
In that meeting they had a bi-lateral discussion over various current affairs in which they highlighted the sad event in which an imam was recently shot dead by a miscreant and imam’s assistant was seriously injured by the same miscreant. Congresswoman Meng strongly denounced this incident, and expressed concerns over the attacks on immigrants in recent times. She assured that she would take necessary measures to make walkways and prayer houses safe for Bangladeshi muslims.
