by News Desk: Decision for the 32nd FOBANA convention to be held in Atlanta has been made. The decision was taken at the general meeting on the closing day (September 4) of 30th FOBANA convention held in Washington based on unanimous votes from the members. The 32nd convention will be organized by Bangladeshi American Association of Georgia. On behalf of the host organization, convenor Jashim Uddin assured that the convention in Georgia will be far better than the one held in Washington.
The 31st convention was already decided to be taken place in Florida. But the decision that the 32nd convention will be held in Atlanta came as a breaking news. It’s to note that the 27th FOBANA convention was successfully conducted by the same organization, and that time Jashim Uddin had been the president of the host organization. Duke Khan and M. Maula Dilu had been convenor and member secretary respectively. Jashim Uddin was also the convenor of the convention held in Georgia in 2006.
As soon as Jashim Uddin, convenor for 2018 convention, received the declaration for the convention venue, he invited in advance everybody to come to Atlanta, and expressed hope that the North American expatriate Bangladeshis will have a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the convention bathed in the hospitality of Bangladeshis living in the state of Georgia.
