But it depends mainly on India,&#8221; she told multimedia news agency &#8211; Asian News International (ANI) ahead of her four-day state visit to India.<\/p>\n<div class=\"m-0 p-0\" style=\"text-align: left;\" data-position=\"desktop-details-article-right\">\n<div class=\"article-ad-right ms-2 mb-2\">\n<div class=\"ads bg-light mb-2 d-flex justify-content-center\">\n<div class=\"ad_cl-13\" data-id=\"13\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The full version of the interview will be telecast on Sunday morning with text stories.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">A 37-second teaser of the interview was put on ANI's Twitter account on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Recalling earlier discussions, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina during her meeting with Indian counterpart Narendra Modi in March last year reiterated Bangladesh\u2019s long-pending request for concluding the interim agreement on the sharing of the waters of the Teesta river.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">She underscored that to alleviate the sufferings and save the livelihoods of millions of people dependent on the Teesta river basin, it is necessary that Bangladesh receives its fair share of the Teesta waters, the draft agreement of which has already been agreed upon by both Governments in January 2011, according to the 2021 joint statement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated India\u2019s \u201csincere commitment and continued efforts\u201d to conclude this agreement, in consultation with the relevant stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Responding to a question on Hindu temples\u2019 vandalism, the Prime Minister told ANI that some incidents sometimes take place. \u201cBut immediately we take action.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Bangladesh is hosting over 1.1 million Rohingyas.
