{"id":66919,"date":"2021-02-28T15:43:18","date_gmt":"2021-02-28T15:43:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/?p=66919"},"modified":"2021-02-28T15:43:18","modified_gmt":"2021-02-28T15:43:18","slug":"govt-stresses-multi-dimensional-education-to-create-skilled-manpower-pm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/?p=66919","title":{"rendered":"Govt stresses multi-dimensional education to create skilled manpower: PM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img class=\"wp-image-66920 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/6665-300x190.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"996\" height=\"631\" srcset=\"https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/6665-300x190.jpg 300w, https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/6665-768x488.jpg 768w, https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/6665-696x442.jpg 696w, https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/6665-662x420.jpg 662w, https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/6665.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 996px) 100vw, 996px\" \/>Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday said her government has been working to make education multi-dimensional attaching priority to science and technology to create skilled manpower.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cWe are making education multi-lateral with setting up universities considering the demand of the modern era,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The prime minister said they are establishing universities on science and technology, agriculture, textile, fashion design, marine, civil aviation and aerospace and medical as part of the government move to make education multifaceted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">She was inaugurating a programme to distribute scholarship, and amount of tuition fee, admission fee and treatment aid to the poor and meritorious students under the PM\u2019s Education Assistance Trust, joining virtually from her official Ganabhaban residence in the capital.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The prime minister said her government has also been establishing universities considering the demand of the particular localities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">To pursue the multi-dimensional education, she said that her government has been attaching topmost priority to science and technology to create skilled manpower.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">She added: \u201cI believe science and technology education is the most essential one as it creates employments at home and abroad.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The premier said she has been taking various pragmatic measures mainly to create apt manpower as they can make great contribution to economic development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">She went on saying that the local demand for skilled and technologically-abled manpower is on the rise as the government has been setting up 100 economic zones across the country which attracts local and foreign investments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni, its Deputy Minister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury and Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Division Md Mahbub Hossain spoke on the occasion at the Ministry of Education in Secretariat, Dhaka end.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Prime Minister\u2019s Office (PMO) Secretary Md Tofazzel Hossain Miah moderated the function from the Ganabhaban end.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday said her government has been working to make education multi-dimensional attaching priority to science and technology to create skilled manpower. \u201cWe are making education multi-lateral with setting up universities considering the demand of the modern era,\u201d she said.
