\u201cI would like to urge the people of all walks of life, including elected public representatives and party leaders and workers, to obey the directives on health consciousness that are being given time and again in view of the COVID-19 outbreak in the country,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Sheikh Hasina continued: \u201cPlease everybody follow the (health) guidelines. If you do it you can keep protected yourselves and similarly (can keep protected) others and life of anybody will not be put at risk.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cFor your little mistake, you may be infected by the virus and you can also transmit the disease to others. So remain careful so that it doesn\u2019t happen,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
The prime minister made the remarks while taking part in the discussion on obituary reference and delivering her valedictory speech in the seventh session of the 11th Jatiya Sangsad.<\/p>\n
The Leader of the House said: \u201cWe\u2019re repeatedly requesting the people to stay at home so that the virus cannot spread further and we\u2019re gathering information every moment from every place.\u201d<\/p>\n
The prime minister said the members of the law enforcement agencies are also working hard round the clock in this regard.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut we don\u2019t know that why the people don\u2019t want to maintain \u2026 we see that (violating the directives) they\u2019re roaming and gossiping here and there,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
The premier said the people of the country have become more courageous. \u201cIt\u2019s seen that breaking the lockdown, they along with their wives visit the father-in-law\u2019s and travel to other places later,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Sheikh Hasina said her government has undertaken various plans and measures to keep up the pace of the country\u2019s economy and so that the country does not experience any famine.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve taken various steps and plans to keep the country\u2019s economy dynamic in the next three years and the country doesn\u2019t fall into famine,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
In this connection, the prime minister urged the people not to worry and tackle the situation with courage instead.<\/p>\n
\u201c(It\u2019s natural) cyclone and disasters will come. But there is nothing to worry and be frustrated. It\u2019ll have to be faced with courage from respective position of everybody and we\u2019ll have that preparation,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
