They\u2019ve also been asked to simultaneously conduct massive campaign in rural areas,\u201d said Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam at a press briefing after the Cabinet meeting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The weekly Cabinet meeting was held with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair at her official residence Ganobhaban. But the Cabinet Secretary briefed the media at the Bangladesh Secretariat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Anwarul said since the coronavirus situation has worsened to some extent in the country, it will in no way be possible to keep the situation under control without the wholehearted support from people. \u201cSo, the Cabinet has repeatedly urged people to maintain social distancing and quarantine. Or else, it\u2019ll in no way be possible to control it,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">He said no devotee from distance should go to mosques to say prayers. \u201cImams and Moazzins as well as several nearby persons are there who can go to mosques,\u201d he further said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">About readymade garment (RMG) factories, the Cabinet secretary said a unified action plan would be taken in this regard following a meeting presided over by PM\u2019s Principal Secretary being held at the Prime Minister\u2019s Office on Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dhaka: The Cabinet on Monday directed the administration and law enforcement agencies to implement the government directives on social distancing in a stricter manner to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the country. \u201cLaw enforcement agencies and the administration have been directed to take measures for stricter implementation of the directives to maintain social distancing.
