Her last rites will be held on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Nimmi\u2019s brother-in-law Ijhar Hussain said, \u201cShe had been unwell for some time now. We will be having the last rites on Thursday but are yet to decide on how to do the funeral considering the body cannot be brought to the society due to the coronavirus, and also we aren\u2019t sure how many people can gather for the funeral. We will take a decision tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Bollywood celebrities took to Twitter to offer their condolences.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Rishi Kapoor tweeted, \u201cRIP. Thank you Nimmy Aunty for all the blessings. You were a part of the RK family.Allah aapko Jannat naseeb kare. Ameen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Mahesh Bhatt wrote on Twitter, \u201c\u2018You may win your hearts desire, but in the end you are cheated of it by death.\u2019 Goodbye Nimmiji.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Born as Nawab Banoo, Nimmi was a popular actor of the 50s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">She made her debut in Raj Kapoor\u2019s Barsaat and it was the legendary actor-director, who had given her the screen name of Nimmi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">After the super success of Barsaat, she appeared in a string of hit movies in the 50s and early 60s.
