{"id":58074,"date":"2020-03-27T12:56:12","date_gmt":"2020-03-27T12:56:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/?p=58074"},"modified":"2020-03-28T13:01:32","modified_gmt":"2020-03-28T13:01:32","slug":"biman-suspends-london-manchester-operation-for-seven-days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/?p=58074","title":{"rendered":"Biman suspends London, Manchester operation for seven days"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img class=\"wp-image-58075 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/daily_sun_Biman_Bangladesh_Airilnes_picture-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"795\" height=\"445\" srcset=\"https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/daily_sun_Biman_Bangladesh_Airilnes_picture-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/daily_sun_Biman_Bangladesh_Airilnes_picture-696x389.jpg 696w, https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/daily_sun_Biman_Bangladesh_Airilnes_picture.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 795px) 100vw, 795px\" \/>Dhaka: National flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines has suspended its operations to London and Manchester for seven days differing earlier decisions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The suspension decision will be effective after the return of two flights to aforesaid destinations scheduled to fly on March 29.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Earlier on March 26, Biman authorities suspended flights to all routes except\u2014London and Manchester\u2014until April 15 following the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">According to Biman\u2019s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mokabbir Hossain, Biman\u2019s flight suspension to Jeddah, Madina, Riyad, Dammam, Kuwait, Doha, Masqat and Bangkok had been extended till April 5, Abu Dhabi till April 7, Dubai till April 9, Singapore up to April 11, Kathmandu as of April 12, Kuala Lumpur till April 14 and Kolkata and Delhi till April 15.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Biman had to suspend its flights bound to 15 out of 17 international destinations one by one due to traveler\u2019s ban imposed by the Bangladesh government and other countries to contain an outbreak of the coronavirus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The national flag carrier had also suspended flights on all seven domestic routes for an indefinite period as per the government's desperate efforts to hold back mass mobility.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dhaka: National flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines has suspended its operations to London and Manchester for seven days differing earlier decisions.
