{"id":52782,"date":"2019-02-20T20:30:47","date_gmt":"2019-02-20T20:30:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/?p=52782"},"modified":"2019-02-20T20:30:47","modified_gmt":"2019-02-20T20:30:47","slug":"pm-returns-home-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/?p=52782","title":{"rendered":"PM returns home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img class=\"wp-image-52783 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/095105sss-300x170.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"978\" height=\"554\" srcset=\"https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/095105sss-300x170.jpg 300w, https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/095105sss-768x435.jpg 768w, https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/095105sss-1024x580.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/095105sss-696x394.jpg 696w, https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/095105sss-1068x605.jpg 1068w, https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/095105sss-741x420.jpg 741w, https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/095105sss.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 978px) 100vw, 978px\" \/>Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned home this morning concluding her six-day official visit to Germany and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the prime minister and her entourage members landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 6:25 am.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Earlier, the flight departed Abu Dhabi International Airport for Dhaka at 12:15 am Abu Dhabi time today (Bangladesh time 2:15 am).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Bangladesh Ambassador to the UAE Mohammad Imran saw the premier off at the airport.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The two-nation visit was Sheikh Hasina\u2019s maiden overseas tour after her assumption of the office as the prime minister for the fourth time last month.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In the first leg of her tour to Germany from February 14-16, Sheikh Hasina joined the two-day Munich Security Conference.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">On the sidelines of the 55th edition of the conference, the prime minister addressed a roundtable on \u201cHealth in Crises \u2013 WHO Cares\u201d and took part in a panel discussion on \u201cClimate Change as a security threat\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">International Criminal Court (ICC) Chief Prosecutor Dr. Fatu Bensouda and Executive Director of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons Nobel laureate Batrice Fihn separately called on Sheikh Hasina here.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The prime minister joined a community reception organized by Bangladesh Mission in Germany at Hotel Sheraton.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In the second leg of her visit to the UAE from Feb 17-19, Sheikh Hasina joined the opening session of the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX-2019) at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The premier met Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and held bilateral talks with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai on February 18.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Sheikh Hasina had an audience with Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Al Ketbi, wife of late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder and the Inaugural President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, at Al Bahar Palace the same day.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Chairman and Managing Director of Lulu Group Yusuff Ali and Founder and Chairman of NMC Group Dr B R Shetty paid courtesy calls on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her hotel suite.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The prime minister joined a community event at St Regis Abu Dhabi Hotel on Tuesday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned home this morning concluding her six-day official visit to Germany and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
