However, he was not getting any facilities in the jail.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Now, the social activist will get a bed, a table, a chair, a fan and other relevant facilities inside jail as per the jail code.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Earlier yesterday, one judge of a two-member High Court bench felt embarrassed to hear a bail petition filed by the international award-winning photographer and forwarded the petition to the Chief Justice for a decision.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">According to rules, the Chief Justice will now form a new bench to hear the petition, said Barrister Joytirmoy Barua, the counsel for Shahidul Alam, managing director of Drik Gallery.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Shahidul\u2019s lawyer Barrister Sarah Hossain filed the bail petition on August 28.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Detectives arrested Shahidul Alam from his Dhanmondi residence on August 5 and the case was filed against him with Ramna Police Station on August 6.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">He was also placed on a seven-day remand in the case.
