""It seems their 2017 Met Gala appearance was the start of a blossoming relationship.

In pairings we never really thought would happen, but here are we are, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are reportedly dating.

According to multiple sources and sightings of the pair, the couple have been seeing each other for a few months and have attended concerts and sports matches together.

According to Us Weekly, Jonas and Chopra spent time together over the recent US long weekend, attending a Beauty and the Beast live performance in Los Angeles on Friday, before heading to a baseball game on Saturday.

“They walked in together just before the performance was starting, they looked great together, but no hand-holding or obvious PDA,” an eyewitness told Us Weekly of the show. “They snuck out right as the show was ending.”

“Priyanka and Nick were talking really closely and were very smiley and very happy,” another source told the publication. “They weren’t trying to be private as they were in a pretty public place, but they were talking to people around them, sitting closely and they both just seemed super happy.”

“They are dating and it’s brand new,” another source said. “It’s a good match and they are both interested in each other.”

The pair attended the 2017 Met Gala together, meaning that even a whole year ago, they were close enough friends to attend one of the most high profile red carpets together—a hint for what was to come, perhaps? Talking to Jimmy Kimmel at the time, Chopra played it seriously coy, but explained her reasoning for attending the Gala with Jonas on her arm as a fairly simple one: they were seated on the same table. A perfectly good reason to attend as someone’s date, right?

“Yeah, we were on the same table and we already know each other. So he was like ‘Hey, you wanna go together?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, OK, let’s go together.’ It ended up working out,” she said.

With no confirmation of the relationship from the pair themselves, we don’t have much to go off—but since they’ve already done the required first red carpet appearance, it should be smooth sailing from here out.
