\"DAILYSUN_HASINA\"Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday said her government wants Myanmar to take back its nationals who entered Bangladesh.<\/p>\n

“We're putting pressure on the Myanmar government so that they take back their nationals who are now staying in Bangladesh,” Hasina said while delivering her introductory speech at the central working committee meeting of ruling Awami League at her official residence Ganobhaban, reports UNB.<\/p>\n

Sheikh Hasina, also Awami League President, chaired the meeting.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister said her government continues its all-out efforts so that Myanmar takes back its nationals. “Incidents are happening one after another and (Rohingya) people are coming here for shelter after losing all they have.<\/p>\n

We're trying our best to help and assist them.”<\/p>\n

About the influx of Myanmar nationals into Bangladesh, she said intrusion of the Myanmar refugees startedin 1978.<\/p>\n

She said the Myanmar citizens enter Bangladesh whenever any incident happens there. “The most painful matter is that women and children die every day in boat capsizes … it can't be tolerated,” she said.<\/p>\n

Mentioning that they are Myanmar nationals, Sheikh Hasina posed a question, “Why will they take refuge in other countries? It's not honourable for them and Myanmar will have to realise it.”<\/p>\n

\u00a0She said the Myanmar government should provide security and ensure livelihood for its citizens who took shelter in Bangladesh.<\/p>\n

Terming Awami League an organisation of the soil and people, Hasina said the country sees massive development and progress whenever it remains in power.<\/p>\n
