\"PM-with-President-on-16th-August\"Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday met President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban and discussed the country\u2019s existing flood situation.<\/p>\n

On her arrival at Bangabhanban at 7:40 pm, the Prime Minister was received by the President with a bouquet.<\/p>\n

The meeting was on till filing of the report at about 8:55pm.<\/p>\n

Apart from the existing flood situation, Hasina also briefed the country\u2019s overall situation.<\/p>\n

President Press Secretary Joynal Abedin briefed reporters at his office about the meeting at about 8:30 pm.<\/p>\n

Hasina said the government has taken all-out preparations to tackle the flood and its aftermath.<\/p>\n

She also told the President that there are enough food gains in government stock to face any exigency.<\/p>\n

Hasina said instructions have already been given to local administrations and public representatives to take necessary measures to provide emergency assistance to the flood victims.<\/p>\n

Asking local public representatives and local administrations to stand beside the country\u2019s flood victims to reach relief materials to them, President Hamid said: \u201cIt must be ensured that the relief materials reach the real flood victims.\u201d<\/p>\n
