{"id":33416,"date":"2017-05-21T05:21:31","date_gmt":"2017-05-21T05:21:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/?p=33416"},"modified":"2017-05-21T05:21:31","modified_gmt":"2017-05-21T05:21:31","slug":"pm-receives-warm-welcome-in-saudi-arabia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/?p=33416","title":{"rendered":"PM receives warm welcome in Saudi Arabia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img class=\"wp-image-33417 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/PM-at-SA-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"PM-at-SA\" width=\"770\" height=\"434\" srcset=\"https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/PM-at-SA-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/PM-at-SA-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/PM-at-SA-696x392.jpg 696w, https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/PM-at-SA-747x420.jpg 747w, https:\/\/en.bornomalanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/PM-at-SA.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 770px) 100vw, 770px\" \/>News desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was accorded a warm reception as she arrived here on Saturday night on a four-day official visit to Saudi Arabia to attend the Arab Islamic-American (AIA) Summit at the invitation of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage landed at King Khalid International Airport at 11.15 pm (local time).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Saudi State Minister for Sura Affairs Mohamed Faisal Bin Abu Saad and Bangladesh Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Golam Moshi received the Prime Minister at the airport.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">From the airport, Sheikh Hasina was escorted to Movenpick Hotel Riyadh through a ceremonial motorcade where she will be staying till Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">During her visit, Hasina will also perform holy Umrah in Makkah and offer ziarat at the Rawza Mubarak of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) in Medina.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Arab Islamic-American (AIA) Summit will begin at King Abdul Aziz International Conference Center in the Saudi capital this afternoon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, US President Donald Trump and 56 Arab and Muslim leaders will join the summit to discuss ways to combat extremism and illicit financing under the summit slogan &#8216;Together We Prevail'.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Sheikh Hasina will also join the inauguration of the Global Centre for Combating Extremist Thought.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Prime Minister will also join lunch to be hosted by the Saudi King.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">On May 22 morning, Sheikh Hasina will leave Riyadh for Medina by air to offer ziarat at the Rawza Mubarak of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). She will leave Madinah for Jeddah in the afternoon the same day.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Sheikh Hasina is expected to put forward a number of proposals at the summit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The main objective of the summit is to establish new partnership to face the challenges of global terrorism and militancy, expand the values of tolerance and coexistence and strengthen efforts for ensuring peace and stability.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Prime Minister is expected to highlight Bangladesh's recent success in combating terrorism and extremism at the summit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Hasina will return home in the early hours of May 24.unb.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was accorded a warm reception as she arrived here on Saturday night on a four-day official visit to Saudi Arabia to attend the Arab Islamic-American (AIA) Summit at the invitation of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
