\"Mirza-Fakhrul9\"Dhaka desk: BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Sunday claimed that their party has started bouncing back with its \u2018thoughts and activities\u2019.<\/p>\n

Speaking at a roundtable discussion, he also said their party\u2019s coalition with Jamaat and other parties of the 20-party alliance is political one and aimed at carrying out anti-government agitations, not to govern the country together.<\/p>\n

\u201cBNP has started making a turnaround in its thinking and action. It\u2019s visible in its Visions 2030 presentation,\u201d Fakhrul said.<\/p>\n

Centre for National and Regional Research Studies arranged the programme on BNP\u2019s Vision 2030 at the Jatiya Press Club.<\/p>\n

Criticising the ruling party leaders for rejecting the Vision 2030, Fakhrul said, \u201cSome Awami League leaders are saying our Vision 2030 is a blunt approach while some others are saying we imitated theirs. The fact is that Awami League has changed their political philosophy and programmes following BNP\u2019s ones.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking at the discussion, Nagorik Oikya convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna said Khaleda Zia in her Vision 2030 said her party, if returns to power, will establish a pro-people government with giving proper importance and hounor to all the activities relating to the Liberation War. \u201cBut a question can be raised what will be BNP\u2019s position if it is given the charge for governing the country through an election?\u201d<\/p>\n

Replying to Manna\u2019s question, Fakhrul said, \u201cWe should make it clear that our alliance with the 20-party and Jamaat is totally movement-oriented one.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the 20-party\u2019s declaration, the BNP leader said, it has clearly been said that the alliance was formed to wage a movement against the Awami League government\u2019s autocracy and fascism with an aim to install a pro-people government. \u201cSo, there\u2019s no need to say what will be our relation with Jamaat in 2030.\u201dunb<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
