Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal revealed the information, referring to a survey of the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS), at a press briefing in Dhaka on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

He said the average life expectancy of men is less than of women.<\/p>\n

For men, the figure was 70 years and three months in 2016 and 69 years and four months in 2015.<\/p>\n

The figure for women was 72 years and nine months in 2016 and 72 years in 2015.<\/p>\n

The average life expectancy of Bangladeshis was 69 years in 2011.<\/p>\n

However, after 2012, the figure gradually increased, from 70 years and 5 months in 2013 to 70 years and 8 months in 2014.<\/p>\n
