But the timing coincided with the starting hour of the ongoing SSC examinations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cHonourable prime minister has deferred the function by 30 minutes for the convenience of the SSC examinees,\u201d PM\u2019s Deputy Press Secretary Ashraful Alam Khokan said.<br \/>\nHe said the function would now begin at 10:30am.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The PM\u2019s deputy press secretary said the prime minister has already directed her personal staff to re-fix the timing of other programmes that will be held on the examination days.<br \/>\nThe three-day E-9 Ministerial Meeting on Education is set to kick off in the capital on Sunday with the theme \u201cEducation for the 21st century\u201d in E-9 countries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The E-9 member countries are Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Nigeria and Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Representatives of the countries are taking part in the meeting to discuss their experiences in education, exchange best practices and monitor progress on achieving Education for All (EFA).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">source: Dhakatribune<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dhaka desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has rescheduled a programme set for Sunday for the convenience of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinees.
